Noosletter # 14

The Initiation

We headed off mid morn to the rock pools at the place of the Spiders. Janet meandered around feeling the energies and finding the "place for her"

She laid upon the rock in a place that seemed to be sculptured to suit her body.

Who knows what she absorbed in this place, but the feelings were set for initiation.

I instinctively "knew" that she had to visit the "birthing pools" a fair way off, and pressed to "move on".

As we neared the area, we encountered heavy rain showers, perhaps a "washing" of the area to prepare for her coming....?

The site was, as always, wonderful. The creek was not flowing well due to the "drought", but the water still flowed across the red rocks, giving the impression of the "river of blood".

The rain had aided in bringing out the colours of the rocks, and there was a magnificent kaleidascope of colour greeting us as we made our way down the creek, the mist and raindrops adding to the magnificent scene that almost overpowered the visual sense...

We stopped at the "asking place" and requested permission to enter, and were granted an immediate "yes, you may"

The rain eased as we neared the pools, and allowed the taking of photos, and the full absorbtion of this magnificent scene.

We made our way to the lower pool, and within seconds, Janet felt the urge to immerse herself in these waters.

She floated into the centre of the pool, stretched out, not moving, until the clouds allowed a shaft of sunlight to cross the pool.
Unseen energies gently eased her towards the side of the pool, as if by the gentle hands of the spirits who inhabit this place, she was being moved within the light.

We returned to the top pools, and the sight looking back up the creek line was stunning! Raindrops, mist, and fingers of sunlight combined with the rainforest canopy to create and absolutely surreal scene.

We both sensed that it was time to leave, and we made our way back upstream. Janet walked up the centre, keeping her feet in these magical waters for as long as she could....

MICK's MUSINGS

I feel that this was truly an "initiation" for Janet.
She was accepted into the area, and "immersed in the waters".

She experienced the sun, rain, breeze and immersion, all within the one visit.

Her urgent need to enter the waters was as if she were being led by the "ancient ones", and the movement accross the pool, by the "younger".

My own feelings were that there was a "returning to the fold"

She is  welcome to return, whenever she may....
