In the Round

Those present:  Joanne & Gary, Lorraine& Alan, Ross & Annette, Graeme, Lana, Elaine, Robyn,  Mick, Greg, Mick.

The weather seemed to be against us again as we had experienced quite a lot of rain for a few days before this trip. We had decided to give it a go anyway, and on the day the sun shone, the rain stopped and the wind died down. It was as if we were really meant to go on this one!  We had a bit of a slippery time entering the forestry area, but the going wasn't too bad and we made it to the mountain without any mishaps. We had a quick coffee at the parking spot before heading up to the top.
As usual, "turtle rock" was the "adjusting" place on the way up. At the top we all shuffled around, seeking the energies and feelings, chatting or just enjoying.
We eventually formed a circle and followed Joanne into an "active meditation" where we raised and lowered arms, and stepped forward, visualising doorways. At the end of this meditation, there were some interesting comments re what each "saw" or experienced.
We had lunch and shuffled around for a while again, before deciding to head for the "Big Trees".

As usual, there were lots of "oohs and ahs" at the sight of these majestic trees. There was also much commenting on the destruction in the area caused by recent severe storms.
We said our goodbyes in the carpark and went our own ways...

Still love those trees.... Like greeting an old friend.
